About

Jonathan Ware was born in Louisville KY.  His family relocated to rural Kentucky shortly thereafter where he spent many of his formative years.  During this time his affinity for the landscape and water was discovered and developed.  His formal education began in visual arts and then led to architecture.

He later moved to Los Angeles where he completed an advanced degree in architecture and worked with multiple award-winning architecture firms.  He since returned to Kentucky where his interest was rekindled in visual arts and the natural environment.  From there he continues to work in his studio located in Lexington, Kentucky.  His work has been exhibited in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Washington D.C. and throughout Kentucky.
